Seattle Automotive is a fantastic business. I have been taking my car to Seattle Automotive for 6 years, and from the very beginning they have gone the extra mile. Their prices are more than fair, and their service is quick and professional.

Right after I graduated college, somebody tried to steal my car and left the steering column unusable. This was during the first couple of months at my new job and I had hardly any money. I had the car towed to Seattle Automotive in the evening and the very next morning they called me up and told me to come get it.

They had cleaned my car from the debris left behind by the thieves and managed to fix the steering column without needing to purchase any replacement parts. They told me that there was no charge and handed my keys. Wow.

For as long as I live in Seattle I will always take my car here and recommend it to all my friends and family.

Seattle Automotive has done work on my car twice in the last 10 months and they're amazing. The most recent fix was due to a simple hi-and-run and Kristine consistently kept me updated via email about the status of a forthcoming part and notified me as soon as I could bring my car in for repair. When the part arrived I was planning to leave the car, but they were able to double up mechanics and finish the job, meticulously, in 20 minutes.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the customer service, communication, price and very friendly attitude.

The folks at Seattle Automotive are friendly, professional, and efficient, and most importantly the body work they did on my AUdi was superb. I required a minor repair to a bumper, and the gentleman who did my estimate invited me to leave the car with them instead of having to bring it back later, and told me it'd be ready the next day, which it was. The process couldn't have been smoother, and the bumper looks as good s new. Given that Seattle Automotive was recommended to me by a reputable new-car dealer here in Seattle, I would not hesitate to use them for extensive repairs as well. Having body work done to a car is extremely stressful - these folks know what they're doing and now how to treat a costumer. The location on Dexter Ave., a few blocks off Denny is easy to find.

Everybody dreads spending a ton of money fixing their damaged vehicle. I had such a positive experience taking my car to Seattle Automotive (which moved from the 1405 Dexter address listed to 430 Dexter Ave) that I wasn't bitter about paying $1,000 to fix my car instead of 2 tickets to Mexico. Tony provides quick, honest estimates. Then he searches for used parts so the final bill is actually lower than the estimate. They offer driving service to and from their office. I had black scrapes down one side of my car that I couldn't scrub off. They polished and shined my car inside and out. Black scrapes nowhere to be seen! And they told me to bring it back for FREE oil changes! I've never seen my car look so good! Customer service, quality, and value are un-matched.

We were referred there by the downtown Toyota dealer for Toyota maintenance. They are better than any dealership auto maintenance and repair experience I've ever had. Good people and good work. We've since gone back for auto body repair and the work was perfect. Now we take all vehicles to Seattle Automotive.

Seattle Automotive did a great job repairing the rear bumper on my Audi A4, and I'd trust them on big repairs too. They come highly recommend by a new-car dealership in Seattle, and the great service I received confirms why they have a good reputation. The location on Dexter, a few blocks off Denny, is easy to find.

I have a 96 Toyota Camry and someone hit me from the back and needed repair. Called Seattle Toyota and they e-mailed me a list of recommended body shop-they use original Toyota parts, not after market parts. After reading some reviews, I went to 2 of them, one being Seattle AUtomotive. Tony and his staff were so great. The best were: 1. They handled everything with the insurance company, I didn't have to do a thing. I told them I wanted original parts from Toyota and they did it. 2. They have their own rental cars. No mileage limits (well, you have to be reasonable). I don't have to call another car rental company to make another arrangement. 3. Nothing out of my bucket. Basically, I went unannounced in the morning and got out of there in 30-40 minutes with a rental car and headed to work. Got my car back in 5 days. What is even more surprising, they detailed my car inside and out and made the 96 Camry look new! I also asked Tony about some repairs I want to do and he gave me great options that make sense and save me money. Thanks Tony! I am very impressed. I don't usually write reviews but I have to give Seattle AUtomotive this one. I will be back.

My car was totaled in an accident and it was towed to Seattle Automotive after business hours. I went the next day to figure what do do about my car, rentals, etc. The staff and owner (Tony) were amazing. To me, they were angels. I was shaken and still in shock from being sideswiped, not to mention pretty badly shaken physically. When I mentioned that I had to get a rental car, Maria put my mind at ease explaining that they were taking care of everything for me! Sure enough, I had a rental within a few minutes and they handled all of the paperwork and coordination between my insurance company and them so the only thing I ended up doing the day after my accident was going to their office, giving the necessary info and then getting my rental car- all under a half our. Then….off to the doctors. Everyone that I came across during the interaction were friendly, empathetic towards my pain and genuinely seemed to care about my situation. This really helped sooth my nerves about next steps the day after a major accident. It took me awhile to get a new car due to some very hectic circumstances. I was dismayed and surprised to find that my insurance only covered costs for a rental car for a certain amount of time. I had gone beyond that time before I found this out, so I ended up owing a lot of money. It was awful. The people at Seattle Automotive were so great about working with me to ensure I could afford the extra I had to pay for the rental. Unfortunately for me, when I finally did get my new car, I backed out of a parking stall and accidentally hit a pole, damaging my new car! Frustrating! But again, Tony and his team were so GREAT! What was an extremely frustrating and costly situation was tempered by the excellent service I received from Seattle Automotive. They gave me the best estimate for repairs, they took time to educate me on the things that I needed to be done, they made sure I got my car in for repairs quickly, they gave me a ride when my car was in the shop, they were very quick, efficient, and they made me feel like they were all working for my best interests and to cushion their bottom line. Wow. Rare (although the way they do business, they deserve to have a very healthy bottom line.) The silver lining in this series of accidents was discovering that there is still neighborhood-friendly businesses like this that provide fantastic customer service and great prices. I would recommend this place of business to anyone and everyone who needs this kind of service!

The shop went above and beyond expectations, bringing in the repair for less than the insurance company's check (it was to repair damage caused by an accident). If you have a fender bender or you just totaled your roadster, these guys can make it go away. They're perfectionists to a fault, and always do an exceptional job. Drive by their place and check out the parking lot (always full). They're recommended by most of the high-end dealers in town (that's how I found them).
